Karnataka - Trip [Part - 1] - Yediyur, Belur, Halebedu, Hornadu , Sringeri, Kollur and Gokarna

Day - 1

1. Started early morning 5am from Bangalore.

First place covered Siddhalingeshwar Temple @ Yediyur

2. Next place visited to Belur

This is the special tree - "Shiva Linga Flowers"

3. Next place visited to Halebeedu- "Chennakesava Swami Temple"

After this place, lunch break on the way to Hornadu

4. Our next place Hornadu - "Annapoorneswari Temple"

@ Tea Gardens on the way to Hornadu
This is the place ["Bhadra Nivas"] where we stayed in Hornadu. Rooms were really good. We should book over phone in advance and there is no current booking at the reception. Since we are not sure where we are going to stay based on the places which needs to be covered. And also this is 'dussara festival' season. But we are lucky due to 2 cancellations, we were able to get 2 rooms.
Coffee Lovers can enjoy cofee inside this 'Bhadra Nivas'.

Day - 2

1. After the breakfast started to Sringeri

It was a great opportunity for us to see the 'Sarada Peetam' and also performed Aksharabhyasam for kids

From Sringeri, visited to Mookambika Temple, Kollur.

Now our next place will be Gokarna. Bit long journey and heavy rains.... we had tough time to get the rooms here. Rooms are not so great and more over there is no power when we reached to Gokarna. Somehow managed to get one room for that night to stay.

Next day morning rain has come down for few hours and by that time we have completed our darshan and pooja in "Mahabaleswar Temple".

This temple is known for "Athma Lingam". we are very fortunate for having special darshan of Athmalingam and followed by abhishekam. In this temple we can touch Athmalingam.
Here is the 'Athma-Lingam' - Ravana's story in Bhu-kailas film as it is....

Just opposite to Temple, there is a beach.
